Rumor: Betclick to Buyout Everest Poker- No Comment!

Mangas Capital Gaming-owned Betclick refused to comment on news published Wednesday in France that it was about to acquire the online poker site Everest Poker, reports Egaming Review.

Rumors of a Betclick buyout of Everest Poker (which is owned byTaiwan-based Giga Media) are not new, and in fact have been circulating for a while. However, a French gaming media outlet published a story September 23rd saying that the acquisition would be announced in early October.

Betclick had no comment regarding the rumor. EGR did note that Malta-licensed Everest Poker has previously been in touch with other potential buyers, including PartyGaming, and are currently holding talks with other potential buyers.
