Main Event (Final) Fri, Jan 31 at 5:00 PM Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott from Hull, England won $589,990 at the World Poker Open defeating Phillip Ivey in the heads up dual. The "Devilfish" took total control from the start of the final and never looked back

Thu, Jan 30 at 12:00 PM Main Event (Day 3) After a big set back early in the day against Phil Ivey, Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott showed class to storm back and lead the final 6 players with over $600,000 in chips at the main event of the WPO.

Event #20 No limit Hold 'Em Main Event (Day 1 of 4) Tue, Jan 28 at 12:00 PM Gary Jones from London, England leads the field at the end of day 1 In the main event of the WPO. Gary finished the day with $48,400 in chips. 160 players started and around 100 still remain going into day 2.

Event #19 Limit Hold 'Em Mon, Jan 27 at 12:00 PM Cecilia De Mortenson, wife of ex- world Champion Carlos, won the last event prior to the main event here at the WPO. Cecilia played great poker to lift the $300 buyin Limit Holdem event and added $58,036 to the family poker fortune. Congratulations to Cecilia.

Event #17 Limit Hold 'Em Sat, Jan 25 at 12:00 PM Bruce Yamron from Naples Florida beat a tough field to win his first ever major tournament and $76,824 today at the WPO in Tunica. Peter Costa failed to add yet another major win to his recent impressive record when finishing second.

Event #16 No Limit Hold 'Em Fri, Jan 24 at 12:00 PM Chip Jett from Henderson, NV won the $2,000 buyin No Limit Holdem at the WPO today and a coveted Gold Bracelet. Chip earned $129,589 for his great play at the final table. The final hand saw his 6,6 hold up against Billy Williford's K,Q.

Event #14 Pot Limit Hold 'Em Wed, Jan 22 at 12:00 PM Men "The Master" Nguyen won his second WPO title today when he lead from start to finish in the $1,000 buyin Pot Limit Holdem event. Men captured the $54,710 first prize when his A,6 beat Gary Haubelt's A,J on the river.

Event #13 Limit 7Card Stud Hi/Lo Tue, Jan 21 at 12:00 PM Farzad Rouhani won event #13 (7 Stud High-Low Split) tonight at the WPO and took home his first WPO Gold Bracelet and $31,816. Ken "Skyhawk" Flaton fought hard for almost 4 hours before losing the final hand.

Event #12 No Limit Hold 'Em Mon, Jan 20 at 12:00 PM Popular poker pro Avner Levy created the most exciting final table at this years WPO so far.
