WPO Winner Main Event (Final)

Barry Greenstein won the 5th Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open Championship Event at the Goldstrike Casino in Tunica, MS today with an impressive display of high level poker. Barry won $1,278,370 after beating a world class field and eventually beating Randy Jensen into 2nd place. Randy took home $656,460.

Main Event (Day 3)
Randy Jensen, the chip leader after day 1, got back into the lead today and goes into tomorrows final table of 6 players at the 5th Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open as chip leader with $1,085,000 in chips. Tomorrows winner will take home $1,278,370 aswell as the title of WPO Champion 2004. Chip Reese is back in third spot with $780,000.

David Pham leads after day 2 at the World Poker Open. He has $428,000 after winning the last pot of the night , knocking out Erik Seidel on the bubble. In the final pot of the night Erik raised it to $13,000 on the button. David re-raised him another $40,000 in the small blind. Erik thought for 4 or 5 minutes then pushed all in for $80,000 and David called. Erik had A,Q and David 2 queens. No help for Erik and he was out.

WPO Winner Event #20 No limit Hold 'Em Main Event (Day 1 of 4)

Randy Jensen took a commanding lead in the WPO at the end of day one ($132,800). His nearest rival has less than $100,000. The 5th Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open smashed the WPT record , when 367 players started out at noon today. Play re-commences tomorrow at noon. This years winner will receive over $1.2M on Thursday night.

WPO Winner Event #19 Limit Hold 'Em

Vassilios Maniotis from Greece won event #19 ($300 buyin Limit Holdem with rebuys) at the World Poker Open in the early hours of this morning. He won $69,925 and a WPO gold bracelet. Today the Championship event starts ($10,000 buyin No Limit Holdem) and a prize pool well in excess of $3,000,000 is expected.
